Ok, so I have been the brains behind MT since day one and look back at what the hell it has become. Some would look at it as a "great masterpiece", some would say "a waste of time", some would say "I still don't understand", and others may say it "its just cool."
Well here is my take on the whole MT site/network and all that. Everyone has a fun hobby, well most people do or even should. Mine happens to be working with publicists, radio stations, bands, managers, venues, friends, and much more. Hey I love to network and I love to make things happen for others. Am I the Mother Teresa of Metal? Uh no but I am a busy ass bee making things happen every week for people who love the show. Granted the pay is almost null but as long as the website is paid for every year I am happy man. And lets pray we keep our net connection going also, that kinda helps in this industry!!
We have put on a show for over 3 years straight, I think we may have only not done 2 shows. Last Sat night was episode #163. Even I am impressed it lasted this long. I don't see it stopping either. Hey MT is my baby and I am still looking at the big picture on this one, when it's going to explode. And when it does I will be a happy man.
How much time does it take to put together the show and upkeep of the website? Ha ha!!! Let's just say that it could be another full time job!!! Ask anyone else who runs a show and they will tell you the same. You WILL NEVER just turn your computer on and mic up and go live. It can take days of going back and forth with artists and publicists jut to lock them into a time slot, don't forget reminders throughout the week. The website, you have to keep the site up to date with info, promote your artists, look forward to the future with new stuff to add to the site, man I could go on and on with this. The site is a lot of work!! I always go to other sites and see what they have and imagine them going through the same hell as I do weekly and even daily.
Support: Well I only wish I had 1% help on the site and getting guests on the show from the co-host, no names included (Dan). But most recently I have a new core of listeners to the show and they are great!! Wow I wish they were here in the beginning with 5 others helping on the show we would be at the next level, I know that!! (AO, RadChad, CzarJimbo, John from Night Stalker, and can't forget about JeffKiss who has been there almost the longest). I know fans will come and bands will do the same and most of them will go but if I can entertain them and make them laugh or give them something they like to hear and be satisfied for however long than I know I did good. Hey the show was designed to help artists not to use them!!!! We have held up to that since day one!
What's in store for this year? My one goal is to put on the MT Tour or at least get a few shows under my belt. It'll happen I just have to get it together and look for new sponsors and all that other stuff..

Czar here, well written, & I am so happy to part of this show, it is a sorta hobby for me also, I am a full time Ironworker[union of coarse] but ever since i found this place, I found new friends & a sorta family, you all overlook my rants or just see Thur them, & that's what a family does, You have my help on fulfilling your dream in any way I can, I didn't come here for no glory, I came to have fun & to ,learn more about a music genre, that I grew up around just never really got too involved in, I love all aspects of music, rock,pop,classical,opera,Etc... & i got to say, this show has broadened my knowledge of metal, & I now go to so many different shows rather than letting them go unnoticed, I think you have done a great job, & I look forward to being around for many years to come, if you ever need from me, just ask, I will give all I can give to help you & Maximum Threshold!
